Oriental Orthodox Festival 2008, London

London, Nov. 21, 2008: St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church, Brockley, London is hosting an Oriental Orthodox Festival on Saturday 22 November 2008.

 

This is an Annual event when all the Oriental Orthodox Churches join mainly in celebrating the Holy Eucharistic Service together. HG. Dr. Yakub Mar Irenaios Metropolitan of our Church along with HG Bishop Angaelos of the Coptic Orthodox Church who is the President of the Council of the Oriental Orthodox Churches in the UK and Ireland and HG Metropolitan Abba Seraphim of the British Orthodox Church are the Bishops who would lead the Service. All the Oriental Orthodox Churches will be represented

by clergy men and faithful. The event is expected to have a good ambiance well

reflecting the diverse yet unique nature of the Orthodox Churches in Communion.
