CATHOLICOS OF THE EAST RECEIVES MEMBERS OF JOINT INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION FOR THEOLOGICAL DIALOGUE

Devalokam, 29 January 2014: The Holy Father Baselius Marthoma Paulose II received the members of the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Roman Catholic Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches.

The Joint International Commission was instituted Eleven years ago as a initiative of the ecclesial authorities of the family of the Oriental Orthodox Churches and the Roman Catholic Church. The Eleventh meeting of the International Joint Commission was hosted by His Holiness Baselius Mar Thoma Paulose II, the Catholicos of the East and the Supreme Pontiff of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. The ongoing Eleventh meeting would conclude on February 1.
